North Jakarta Accelerates COVID-19 Vaccination Activities

North Jakarta Government held COVID-19 vaccination center in this week.

It is located at Balai Yos Sudarso, 2nd and 3rd floors of North Jakarta Mayor Office

North Jakarta Health Sub-agency (Sudinkes) Head, Yudi Dimyati explained, COVID-19 vaccination center is held to accelerate vaccination for elderly, state civil apparatuses (ASNs), and Individual Other Service Providers (PJLPs).

"It is located at Balai Yos Sudarso, 2nd and 3rd floors of North Jakarta Mayor Office," he mentioned, Monday (3/22).

38 School Buses Deployed to Transport Elderly to Vaccination Locations

Balai Yos Sudarso on the 2nd floor, he added, is used for health screening and vaccination area with capacity around 150-250 people. Then the 3rd floor is used for waiting area with capacity up to 300 people.

On the first day of COVID-19 vaccination center activity on Monday (3/22), there are 200 elderly residents from Kebon Bawang Urban Village who are scheduled to be vaccinated today. The following day, 200 elderly residents from Warakas Urban Village.

"Vaccination for elderly at vaccination center will be held until Friday (3/26) with participants from different urban villages every day. Participants will be facilitated with medium-sized buses from North Jakarta Transportation Sub-agency," he informed.

For three consecutive days from Monday (3/22) to Wednesday (3/24), COVID-19 Vaccination Center at Balai Yos Sudarso is also scheduled for second dose vaccination for ASNs and PJLPs.

"This vaccination center is held through collaboration between sub-agencies in North Jakarta Government, from Health Sub-agency, Education Sub-agency, and Transportation Sub-agency, as well as sub-districts and urban villages throughout North Jakarta. We also get stakeholder support from Vaksinasi Imuni Clinic," he said.
